ANNASTATE — Artist collective of 8 KABK graduates. Platform and “state of co-being” at Willem Dreespark 102, The Hague. Members: Trijntje Noske, Gideon van Oosten, Janne Schippers, Luuk Kuypers, Cyrill Rafael Vasilyev, Sasha Zalivako, Zahar Bondars, Heleen Boeken.

Exhibition Venues (The Hague)

Grafische Werkplaats — Production workshop est. 1974 at Prinsegracht 16. Large format screen printing, lithography, etching, relief printing, textile printing. Temporarily at Helena van Doeverenplantsoen 3 during renovations.

Korzo — Performing arts venue in Hofkwartier since 1980s. Full renovation 2011. Home to India Dance Festival and CaDance Festival.

Helicopter — Artist collective and project space in former school building, Moerwijk. Founded 2016. Contact: stichtinghelicopter@gmail.com

Artist Statement (Short)

Cyrill Rafael Vasilyev (b. 1992, Moscow) creates large-scale painterly installations characterised by vibrant colour and tactile materiality. His practice addresses themes of cyclicity, embodiment, and the dream-like nature of human experience, drawing on contemplative traditions to evoke ephemeral realms at the edges of perception. Working primarily with large surfaces that function as both bodies and spaces, he emphasises the character of materials to celebrate the revelatory potential of vision.
